Jersey International Business School, in association with BakerPlatt, presents the 6th Annual Economic Crime Symposium. This event is acknowledged by senior offshore practitioners as the year's definitive event on financial crime and related regulatory issues.
It features some of the world's leading practitioners and examines the key topics of interest in the industry at present.
The day opens by examining the risk environment in which local industry operates from the perspective of the regulator and local enforcement before moving on to explore some of the risks which may prove pivotal to the success of our financial market. The day ends with a forecast of the threats and opportunities that will shape Jersey and other offshore centres in the coming year.
Due to feedback from former delegates, for the first time we will also be offering an additional half day series of contemporary case studies on Friday 12 November, presented by Stephen Platt with contributions by Jack Blum on the US risks inherent in the relationships discussed (3.5 CPD hours).
