Jersey’s survival depends entirely on the success of the private sector. The leadership and management skills of directors are therefore of critical importance to the Island’s future prosperity.

The JIBS Annual Directors Convention is designed to help Directors raise their game through the provision of information and critical analysis.

Jersey directors face several challenges:

• Increasingly competitive offshore market place
   
• Tougher governance standards
   
• Rising expectations of directors duties
   
• Hostile market conditions
   
• Offshore centres under the spotlight
   
• Skills shortage

The inaugural JIBS Annual Directors Convention provides Directors with an opportunity to critically examine these issues with the help of speakers from the worlds of politics, sport, the military and business.

All speakers will deliver a presentation and be interviewed by Miles Templeman, the Director General of the Institute of Directors.

The format is designed to provide texture to the day and to guarantee critical analysis of key issues.

Co-chaired by Miles Templeman and Stephen Platt, Director of the Jersey International Business School.

Cost

£435 per delegate.
