Jersey International Business School Acquires Forward Training

The Jersey International Business School has announced that it has acquired local training provider Forward.

A Jersey-based specialist training services provider, Forward designs and delivers professional education to some of the world’s largest financial institutions in-house and through its public training programmes. Utilising the expertise of its team of full-time professional tutors, Forward facilitates a wide range of training events across ten jurisdictions.

The acquisition means that all professional education programmes that were delivered by Forward in Jersey will continue to be offered exactly as they were, under the Jersey International Business School name.

The Jersey International Business School was officially opened in February this year in response to the Island’s need for a definitive, specialist educational hub delivering learning solutions for the finance industry and the wider business community.

Sally Gallichan, Learning and Solutions Manager at the Jersey International Business School, said:

“The Jersey International Business School already had an established relationship with Forward as one of its selected training providers and this was a natural step. The purchase will help make the provision of in-house and public training programmes more efficient for those businesses that currently use Forward for their specialist training needs, and provides a full time tutor faculty at the School. Essentially, those businesses will notice no change at all, except that the programmes will now be delivered under the School’s banner.”
