Located in the heart of St Helier, in Jersey, Channel Islands, the business school is already renowned for meeting the Island’s needs with quality business education as the exclusive provider of a number of professional qualifications recognised internationally by the financial services industry. Such experience has now been extended to an undergraduate market by combining academia and industry knowledge.

I am delighted that in collaboration with The University of Buckingham, the only independent university in the UK with a Royal Charter, we are able to offer such a unique degree opportunity, whereby both younger and mature students can achieve a full BSc (Hons) degree in International Financial Services over a two year period.

Historically, alumni at the school have had an extensive relationship with the International Compliance Association (ICA) and through that relationship The Manchester University Business School made JIBS their nominated centre for two new degree programmes in Jersey back at the start of 2011, before the school was even one year old. As a result of this relationship, students have been progressing with BSc (Hons) Management with Compliance and, BSc (Hons) Management with Trusts and Estates.
