Effective Management Skills

Effective Management Skills

Assertiveness

This one-day programme aims to bring a depth of insight into a person's own thinking process and behaviour patterns, enabling them to make conscious changes through new learning and skill application. The aim in all communication should not be to win, but to seek the best outcome for both parties. This course will provide delegates with the key skills to plan and structure their communications to best effect for each of their own specific workplace situations.

Effective Delegation Skills

The art of delegation is one of the most important management skills, and one of the easiest to go wrong. We must examine the reasons to delegate, how to delegate, and the consequences of failure to delegate. This one-day programme places ‘delegation' within the context of four leadership styles, which can be adopted within the working environment. It provides insight to human attitudes and behaviours surrounding this skill and enables participants to measure how successful their own delegation methods are.
